So where I'm getting with all of this? BlazBlue Centralfiction is without a doubt the best out of the bunch, by the mile. Often times I've felt that there was more downtime writing down combos to my sketchbook than actually learning by playing. There's either some trick about timing, as in you do the inputs perfectly but you missed the timing by 0,5 seconds, or attacks require way more delay to execute. Not to mention that trying to learn up character combos after basic strings is an exercise in frustration. For some reason or another, I've felt that that most recent fighting games lacks that certain something for long term appeal. I always knew about Blazblue as a series of fighting games, but never had the time or chance to pick it up, up until now. To mention some of the more recent titles that I've played there are Tekken 7, Street Fighter 5, Soul Calibur 6, Guilty Gear 3rd Rev (Ver.2).
